The **Alerts** page lets you configure and monitor alert activity across your instance. An alert consists of a trigger and an action. A trigger monitors an event or metric and fires when defined conditions are met. An action sends a notification, such as an email or webhook call, when a trigger fires. Each time a trigger fires, the system creates an incident that you can track and resolve.

The Alerts page contains three tabs:

- **Incidents**
  A log of all triggered incidents across the instance. Filter, sort, and resolve incidents from this tab.
- **Triggers**
  Configure the events and metrics that fire alerts and send notifications.
- **Notification Settings**
  Configure the actions that triggers use to send notifications.
