You can set up regular email updates to monitor the performance of your Litmus Edge. These daily digests will provide insights into PLC or any device connected with the driver.

# Before You Begin

- Ensure to set up your SMTP [Email](docId\:GcxRXKR3-oc_O9zqz7Jke) settings in Litmus Edge Manager for the emails to be sent. If these settings are not configured correctly, a warning message will appear.

# Email Report Contents

The email reports will include the performance statistics you choose from the *Report *section in your *Admin Console *settings. Here is a sample of the **Report** with key sections included:

# Step 1: Access Report Settings

To find the settings, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to **Litmus Edge Manager Admin Console**.
    
2. Go to **Settings** > **Reports** section from the left menu.
3. In the *Reports* section, you will see options for **Daily digest settings** and **Subscription.**

# Step 2: Manage Report Subscribers

The **Subscription **section lets you manage who will receive the email. 

1. You can **Filter **the list of subscribers to find specific ones.
2. To add a new subscriber, click the **"+" **icon. 
   - The *Add Subscriber* dialog box appears where you need to enter the **Subscriber Name** and **Subscriber Email**. 
   - Then click **Add**.

3. To refresh the list of subscribers, click the **Refresh **icon.

4. In the **Action **column (three dots), you have the following options:

   - **Edit Subscriber:** To change the name or email address of a subscriber.
   - **Enable Subscriber: **To include this subscriber in the email reports. 
     The *Status* will show as **Enabled** (in green).
   - **Disable Subscriber:** To stop this subscriber from receiving email reports. 
     The *Status* will show as **Disabled** (in orange).
   - **Send Report:** To send an email report to this specific subscriber immediately.
   - **Delete Subscriber:** To remove this subscriber from the list.

# Step 3: Set Up the Report (Daily Digest)

The **Daily digest settings** area is where you choose what information you want to send in your email reports and how often.

1. Turn on the reports by clicking the **Enable Report** toggle.
2. Choose how often you want to receive the reports under **Period Frequency**. 
   You can choose:
   - **Daily:** You will get a report every day at **00:00:00 ***Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)*.
   - **Weekly: **You will get a report every **Monday **at **00:00:00 ***UTC*.
   - **Monthly: **You will get a report on the first day of each month at **00:00:00 ***UTC*.
   - Note that the specified times are based on the **VM Timezone**, which is typically aligned with *Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)*.
3. You can choose to include all available information in the reports by clicking **Enable All Metrics**. See [Reports](docId:5aRrj1KnuwljUxwWG5GZZ) for the metrics you can choose to send in reports.
4. If you only want specific information, you can turn off *Enable All Metrics* and then select the metrics you want to include.

5. After selecting the information you want, click **Save** to save your settings.
6. You can also click **Send Report** to send an email report immediately to the subscribers.

**Important Notes:**

- The information in the reports may change based on your data lifecycle policy.
- If you are not receiving the email reports, check your spam or junk email folders.
- Make sure the subscriber's email address is correct and that the **Status **is *Enabled* for that subscriber.
