The **Streaming Logs** pane provides a central view of logs streamed from Litmus Edge devices in a project. Logs appear here for any edge device that has log forwarding enabled. You can filter logs by edge device, time range, log level, and text search to isolate relevant entries across your edge fleet.

Access streaming logs by selecting a company and project and then selecting **Streaming Logs** from the left navigation.

**Note**: Streaming Logs is available for Litmus Edge Manager version 2.34.0 and later with Litmus Edge version 4.1.0 or later on each edge device.

# Enabling streaming logs

Central Log Streaming is an experimental feature that you enable from the Admin Console to make the pane is available. See [Experimental Features](docId\:fzUhOFEpdGaUDjuBKP89X) for more information.

Streaming logs data displays when you enable log forwarding on one or more edge devices. To enable logs for:

- A single edge device see [Log Forwarding](docId\:v0ndFLyg22jFLz0NgE4BJ).
- Multiple edge devices see [Multi-select mode](docId\:NfYiShSsFhbuLLkXo-hhF).

# Log entry details

Each entry in the log list includes:

- **Timestamp**: Date and time the log was recorded on the edge device
- **Device**: The hostname of the originating edge device
- **Component**: The service or process that generated the log
- **Level**: The log severity (Info, Warning, and Error)
- **Message**: The log message content

# Filter logs

Use the filters at the top of the pane to narrow the log entries displayed.

| **Filter**                  | **Details**                                                                                              |
| --------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Edge Device**             | Select one or more edge devices to show logs from. Defaults to all edge devices with forwarding enabled. |
| **Start Date and End Date** | Specify a time range for log entries.                                                                    |
| **Log Level**               | Filter by severity: Info, Warning, Error.                                                                |
| **Search**                  | Free-text search across log message content.                                                             |

Click **Refresh** to update the list with the latest entries.

# Log settings

Logs are stored in VictoriaLogs. Set the retention period and a maximum disk allocation for logs in **Integration** > **Action Log**. For more information, see [Action logs](docId:1s4F7YgGB9RTgUntAc5U9).
