This hierarchy follows the same principles as other devices such as servers, PC systems, or PLCs/controllers. You can then visualize and organize where an edge device fits into the overall architecture. The first level of the hierarchy is called **Companies**. Companies are the highest hierarchy level under which everything is structured. Options can be the enterprise, company, or division/subsidiary names. Other valid choices are the name of a country, region, state, or city, as well as production site. These names are based on how you understand your own hierarchy and how the hierarchy will represent the architecture. When you are working in a module for a company, Litmus Edge Manager remembers after you log out so the last module in the company you worked on appears when you log in.
