Once an edge device begins sending data to Litmus Edge Manager, it becomes available in the Info tab.
Note: Some manufacturers do not expose device details to the software. Therefore this information may not be available.
You can create device groups which can be used to create group alerts, firmware upgrades, and group jobs. Similar devices can be grouped together, and device group can be mapped to a trigger or multiple jobs.
Tip:
If data does not display:
- Check the device status from the Edge Devices pane to see if data is connected. See Step 7: Verify Edge Device Activation in Litmus Edge Manager.
Refer to the following actions you can take on the Litmus Edge Manager User UI's Edge Devices Details Info tab.

[1] Modify Description | Update the description of the edge device. |
[2] Add edge device groups / Remove edge device groups | Assign or detach device groups from edges. |
[3] Change edge device image | Update the image associated with the device. |
[4] Remove edge device image | Delete the current image from the device. |
For an Edge Device's info pane's Add edge device group, existing group names will appear. You can apply these existing group names to additional devices.
