License

Upon activation of an edge device, all license information is automatically loaded in the License tab. You can view the license and its expiry date, the features included with the license, and the number of allowed devices and tags. The online and offline activation sections for the edge device are included.

You can activate a license in online/offline mode from Device Details.

Refer to the following actions you can take on the Litmus Edge Manager User UI's Edge Devices Details License tab. In the following screenshot, a Site license has been chosen.

[1] Select License Type

[2] Save: When switching from Node-locked license to a Site license, the added Node-locked licensed will still be installed when switching back.

[3] Reload Features

When Node-locked license is selected, the user interface offers a different set of actions.

[5] Upgrade License: Attempting to upgrade will change the user interface. Add/Upgrade a Node-locked License to an Edge Device.

[6] Remove License

[7] Enter Activation Key: Add/Upgrade a Node-locked License to an Edge Device.

[8] Switch to Offline License Activation tab

[9] Submit: You cannot add a new license when a license already exists. You must Upgrade License instead.
