License
Upon activation of an edge device, all license information is automatically loaded in the License tab. You can view the license and its expiry date, the features included with the license, and the number of allowed devices and tags. The online and offline activation sections for the edge device are included.
You can activate a license in online/offline mode from Device Details.
Refer to the following actions you can take on the Litmus Edge Manager User UI's Edge Devices Details License tab. In the following screenshot, a Site license has been chosen.
Action | Details |

[1] Select License Type | Choose between different types of licenses available for the edge device. |
[2] Save | When switching from Node-locked license to a Site license, the added Node-locked licensed will still be installed when switching back. |
[3] Reload Features | Refresh the available features associated with the selected license type. |
When Node-locked license is selected, the user interface offers a different set of actions.

[4] Reload License | Retrieve the current license information for the edge device. |
[5] Upgrade License | Attempting to upgrade will change the user interface. Add/Upgrade a Node-locked License to an Edge Device |
[6] Remove License | Delete the current license from the edge device. |

[8] Switch to Offline License Activation tab | Navigate to the section for activating licenses without an internet connection. |
[9] Submit | You cannot add a new license when a license already exists. You must Upgrade License instead. |
