Events
You can view the Events pane from a company or from an open project.
The Company Events pane allows you to select a start and end date for the events you want to view. You can select an event type to filter the event list. Options are: Team/Member, Project, Device, Revoke, and All Events. You can add criteria in the Filter field to further narrow the events list.
Note: The deactivation event type is available for Litmus Edge Manager version 2.18.0 and later.
To access the events UI:
- Log in to Litmus Edge Manager.
- Select a company. The Projects pane appears.
- From the Navigation panel, select Events. The Events pane appears.
Refer to the following actions you can take on the Events pane.

The Project Events pane includes:
- System Events: The System Events pane allows you to select a start and end date for the events you want to view. You can select an event type to filter the event list. You can also add criteria in the Filter field to further narrow the events list.
The System Events list includes a timestamp, type, user, and event message for each event.
- Edge Devices Events: Edge Events allows you to view events for the entire date range over its life cycle. You must enable event forwarding for the edge device.
Note: EdgeEvents is an experimental feature which must be enabled from the Litmus Edge Manager Admin Console before it becomes visible in Litmus Edge Manager. See Experimental Features for more information.
The Edge Devices Events pane allows you to select and apply a start and end date for the events you want to view. You can select options from the Severity, Component, Edge Device ID filters to further narrow the entries. You can filter a specific event by device or by component. You can click the device ID link, which navigates you to the selected Edge Device Details pane in the Events tab.
From the Events tab in the Edge Device Details pane, you can enable Forward Events. This allows you to receive alerts when you use actions and triggers in the Alerts module.
Note: Litmus Edge Events can be a source for Litmus Edge Manager Alerts. You can define triggers based on the Litmus Edge Events and get notifications.
To access the Project Events pane:
- Log in to Litmus Edge Manager.
- Select a company. The Projects pane appears.
- Do one of the following:
- Click a project from the Project pane. The Dashboard pane appears for the project.
- Click the Actions icon for a project, and then select View. The Dashboard pane appears for the project.
- From the Navigation panel, select Events. The Events pane appears. By default, System Events tab appears.

- Filter by Device: You can further narrow the list by selecting a start and end date.
- Filter by Component: You can further narrow the list by selecting a start and end date.

[12] Select Severity:
