You can select an event type to filter the event list. Options are: Team/Member, Project, Device, Revoke, and All Events. You can add criteria in the Filter field to further narrow the events list. :::hint{type="info"} **Note: **The *deactivation *event type is available for Litmus Edge Manager version 2.18.0 and later. ::: ## Access Company Events Pane **To access the events UI:** 1. Log in to Litmus Edge Manager. 2. Select a company. The *Projects* pane appears. 3. From the Navigation panel, select Events. The *Events* pane appears. * Activation and Deactivation (Deactivation is Available for Manufacturing Connect version 2.18.0 and later) * Analytics * Authentication * Cloud Storage * Company and project * DataHub * Digital Twins * Device and device management * DeviceHub * Flows * Git synchronization * Grafana * Licensing * Integrations * Marketplace * Revoke * System * Team and team member | | \[4] **Filter** | Search by *User* or *Event* . | | \[5] **Refresh** | Update the list. | # Project Events Pane The Project Events pane includes: - **System Events**: The System Events pane allows you to select a start and end date for the events you want to view. You can select an event type to filter the event list. You can also add criteria in the Filter field to further narrow the events list. The System Events list includes a timestamp, type, user, and event message for each event. - **Edge Devices Events**: Edge Events allows you to view events for the entire date range over its life cycle. You must enable event forwarding for the edge device. :::hint{type="info"} **Notes**:  - Edge event management is an experimental feature which must be enabled from Litmus Edge Manager Admin Console. See [Experimental Features](docId\:PtIJysv_x6gV1g0Z4oR2B) for more information. - The trigger for *Events* in Edge devices will only work if the *Forward Events *toggle is enabled. If this option is not activated, you won’t be able to see any logged events. You'll only have access to the event logs after turning on this feature; otherwise, previous logs will remain inaccessible. ::: The Edge Devices Events pane allows you to select and apply a start and end date for the events you want to view. You can select options from the Severity, Component, Edge Device ID filters to further narrow the entries. You can filter a specific event by device or by component. You can click the device **ID** link, which navigates you to the selected *Edge Device Details* pane in the *Events *tab. From the Events tab in the Edge Device Details pane, you must enable **Forward Events**. This allows you to receive alerts when you use actions and triggers in the Alerts module. :::hint{type="info"} **Note**: Litmus Edge Events can be a source for Litmus Edge Manager Alerts. You can define triggers based on the Litmus Edge Events and get notifications. ::: ## Access Project Events Pane **To access the Project Events pane: ** 1. Log in to Litmus Edge Manager. 2. Select a company. The *Projects* pane appears. 3. Do one of the following: - Click a project from the *Project *pane. The *Dashboard *pane appears for the project. - Click the **Actions** icon for a project, and then select **View**. The *Dashboard *pane appears for the project. 4. From the Navigation panel, select **Events**. The *Events* pane appears. By default, *System Events* tab appears.
