The following issues that existed in one or more previous releases have been resolved:
Description
Zero-touch provision for Litmus Edge:
Litmus Edge Manager now provision to deploy Litmus Edge with License Key, Certificates, cloud URL, Integration Configurations automatically. This feature helps in bulk activation of Litmus Edge from Litmus Edge Manager
Litmus Edge deactivation from Litmus Edge Manager:
Improvements have been added with this release for deactivation of Litmus Edge from Litmus Edge Manager. More validation and verbose have been added to carry out this process seamlessly.
Improved Litmus Edge device removal workflow:
Improvements have been added with this release to the workflow for removal of Litmus Edge from Litmus Edge Manager. More validation and verbose have been added to carry out this process seamlessly.
Smooth upgrading of Litmus Edge marketplace application:
Marketplace application can be upgraded with new parameters to Litmus Edge.
Support of Litmus Edge Marketplace templates:
Supports marketplace apps in template deployment.
Litmus Edge services management from Litmus Edge Manager:
A Litmus Edge Manager administrator can start/stop/restart services like remote access, ssh, devicehub and flows from Litmus Edge Manager.
Click-house access for 3rd party reporting tools:
Click-house access is available is for user to import the data to other databases for further reporting tools.
Private Docker registry improvements:
Admin user can upload docker images to Litmus Edge Manager Admin Console, these images can be used for Litmus Edge application deployment. There is also option to pull docker images from another registry.
DockerHub registry mirroring:
Litmus Edge Manager manage proxy authentication and state for docker registry.
Maintenance - Configuration step isn't needed anymore:
Manual configuration steps are not required for VM deployment and there is a field in Admin console to edit the domain name under settings.
Maintenance - Litmus Edge Manager updates are supported now:
Litmus Edge Manager admin user can upgrade to next version of Litmus Edge Manager from Admin console. .upd file has to be uploaded to have it under New versions section in order to deploy the version. Admin user can click on the upgrade button to apply the upgrade. Previous versions can also be upgraded or removed manually from this section
Litmus Edge Manager domain names management from Litmus Edge Manager Admin UI:
Litmus Edge Manager admin console now has the feature to update domain names. System will validate the URL before having it saved.
Introduced SSL certificates management (Instance, Let's Encrypt, Custom):
User had to use command line to set up the certificate now this is possible from the Admin UI, which makes user journey much easier.
