Enhancements and Features

The following issues that existed in one or more previous releases have been resolved:

Description

New - Data Lifecycle Management:

  • Data LifeCycle Management allows user to manage collected data for analysis and trace it to the point of storage or cleaning
  • Users can monitor data usage and download collected data in csv format
  • Users can define policy to archive and purge data

New - Trigger alert on Device Status:

  • Users have ability to create incidents and send alerts based on changing device online status

Compatibility with both Litmus Edge 2.6.x and 3.x:

  • Litmus Edge Manager-1.9.0 can manage both Litmus Edge 2.6.x and 3.x

Miscellaneous:

  • Litmus Edge friendly name available on Litmus Edge Manager
  • Health check on minio before domain name change
  • Various bug fixes
  • General UI and UX improvements

Known Issues

The following issues are unresolved in this release:

Description

  • Failure on all file upload of Litmus Edge on Litmus Edge Manager Admin Console on FireFox browser with self-signed certificate
  • Upgrade Litmus Edge Manager-1.8.4 to 1.9.0 isn't compatible
