New Features

The following are new features introduced in this software release:

Description

A new Task List (Task Details, SubTask log) has been introduced to monitor resource-heavy tasks applicable to multiple Litmus Edge instances.

When accessing the version number, a new option in Personal Settings is available. The Connected Feature enables the customer chat box.

Integration:

  • Log forwarding to an external Syslog server is now supported.

Admin Console Settings:

  • Litmus Edge Manager now offers long-term API Tokens.

Enhancements and Features

Description

Login:

  • A loading indicator now displays when logging in to Litmus Edge Manager.

Overall:

  • Improved performed for operations (such as deploying) that apply to multiple Litmus Edge instances. 
  • The Admin Console menu has been redesigned.

Dashboard:

  • System (Device and Up) time is now displayed.

Dashboard:

  • Redesigned Dashboard layout.
  • Every alert will now contain details about the originating source.

Edge Devices:

  • Edge Device time is now displayed.

Edge Devices:

  • Litmus Edge licenses are now removable. 
  • Online licenses can now be upgraded.

Activation:

  • When activating Docker type edge devices, a failed activation error message now contains additional details.

Software:

  • Edge Device names with MAC addresses are now displayed instead of Edge Device ID.

Marketplace:

  • LEM users with a Grafana Administrator role will now also receive an Admin Role in the Grafana organization.

Admin Console Settings:

  • Offline activation for LEM licenses are now supported.

Asset Management Model:

  • Changed the model modification user interface with new customizations (Static Attributes/Transformation/Dynamic Attributes/Hierarchy)

Integration:

  • Updated Tabix to the latest version of 22.15.7.

Resolved Issues

The following issues that existed in one or more previous releases have been resolved:

Description

Keycloak:

  • Fixed an issue with Keycloak redirected URLs.

Sites:

  • Fixed an issue where uploading new site images doesn’t replace the old image, thereby wasting diskspace.

Applications:

  • Fixed an issue where it is possible to deploy an application even before the Litmus Edge has the capability to receive the application.

Edge Devices Details:

  • When adding a license key, online/offline license activation is now re-enabled. 
  • Fixed an issue with unsuccessful attempts to add datapoint licenses.

Features:

  • Fixed an issue related with the Prometheus URL in Grafana settings.

Admin Console:

  • Fixed an issue with the Admin Console not fully working without running Hazelcast. 
  • Fixed an issue where a site-licensed, installed Litmus Edge Manager was displaying number of days before the license expires. 

Asset Management:

  • Fixed an issue where a Litmus Edge-created instance did not show up on Litmus Edge Manager.

Admin Console Settings:

  • Fixed an issue where disabling EdgeEvents did not disable the User UI: Edge Devices > Edge Device Details > Events Tab.

Security:

  • Cipher suites have been updated to address SSL LUCKY13 vulnerability.

Deprecated Components and Features

The following components/features will no longer be available:

Settings:

  • The OMA Registry tab has been removed.

Admin Console Settings:

  • Remote UI, Parametrized template, EdgeRemoteNetwork are now no longer experimental features. They are now fully part of Litmus Edge Manager User UI features.

Admin Console Settings:

  • For the current version, the version size has been removed.
