Description

License Server Management:

  • A new License Clients tab allows you to create activation requests for devices to connect to a custom license server through a proxy.

Enhancements and Features

Description

Support:

  • Clickhouse logs and upgrade logs are now available in support bundles.

Activation:

  • If there is an unsuccessful activation through the license server, more details are now included in the error message to assist in troubleshooting.
  • You now have the option of automatically applying the default password policy in Litmus Edge Manager to activated devices.

Settings:

  • You have the option storing edge device data (OMA and RAW) in Clickhouse.
  • You can configure the backup retention policy for edge device data by setting the number of backups to store.

Description

Edge Devices:

  • Fixed issue where expired site-based licenses do not display their expired status.

System:

  • Addressed vulnerabilities related to the following:
    • CVE-2022-0265
    • CVE-2023-34034
    • CVE-2022-1471
    • CVE-2016-1000027
    • CVE-2022-45047

Marketplace:

  • Fixed issue with an older Docker version causing the Marketplace Catalog app to crash.

Templates:

  • Fixed issue with NTP, DNS, Timezone, Country, and Docker Data being automatically added to templates.

Upgrade:

  • Fixed issue with being able to downgrade Litmus Edge Manager to an earlier version.
  • Fixed issue with not being able to upgrade Litmus Edge through Litmus Edge Manager.

Installation:

  • Fixed issue with the domain name not being provisioned for Litmus Edge Manager when deployed from the Azure Marketplace.

Users:

  • Fixed issue with an incorrect success message displaying after an unsuccessful attempt to add a user.

Known Issues

Description

Marketplace:

  • Marketplace applications may not launch successfully if you do the following:
    • In Litmus Edge Manager version 2.2.2, add a new catalog and import an application.
    • Upgrade Litmus Edge Manager from 2.2.2 to 2.12.0.
    • Activate a Litmus Edge version 3.5.5.
    • Launch the imported application in the activated Litmus Edge 3.5.5.

Templates:

  • Uploading a template file circumvents the 512 character limit for Template Description.
  • Two or more templates can share the same description.

Digital Twins:

  • If a hierarchy is unsuccessfully saved, the error message provides no details on the cause of the error.

Edge Devices:

  • The disk usage data for edge devices may not display correctly and hide the value.
  • The Docker version of Litmus Edge Manager may not display events after enabling the Forward Events feature.
