Access to Litmus Edge Manager
There are multiple methods to log in to Litmus Edge Manager, along with different aspects of the Litmus Edge Manager to access. The following methods and aspects of Litmus Edge Manager are available to log in to:
- Access the Terminal User Interface (TUI)
- Access the Litmus Edge Manager Admin Console
- Access Keycloak
- Access the Litmus Edge Manager User UI
After your installation, you can log in to the Terminal User Interface (TUI).
From the TUI, you can change the settings for your installation.
Note: The TUI logs you out if no activity occurs within a few minutes.
To log in to the TUI:
- From the installation, make sure that your installation is running. A terminal window is open when the selected installation is running.
- Click the browser console and select the terminal window for your installation. The Terminal User Interface (TUI) appears.
- Enter the default credentials. Refer to the Default Login Credentials section above. You can perform actions once you are logged in.
You must change your password when you log in to the Litmus Edge Manager Admin Console software for the first time.
The initial user name and password is set up to create a local user name and password for the administrator.
- Make sure that the virtual machine and laptop are connected to the same network, or that network communication through routing is established.
- To access the software, you must use Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Apple Safari. The browser must be connected to the same network as the software and devices.
- Make sure you have noted the IP address from the virtual machine during installation.
Notes:
- Only Admins may use the Litmus Edge Manager Admin Console.
- Litmus Edge Manager Admin Console uses a self-signed Certificate. This may prompt the browser to display an error message. Follow the browser guidelines for how to bypass a self-signed security error message. See Browser Access Restrictions for more information about how to resolve browser access restrictions.
- If the login is performed within two to five minutes after booting the Virtual Machine, you may see an initialization screen. Allow time to complete the startup sequence.
To log in to the Admin Console:
From a browser, enter the host IP address, colon, and then enter port 8446. For example https://xxx.xxx.1.222:8446. The log in screen appears.
- Enter the default credentials. Refer to the Default Login Credentials section above.
- Click Login. You are prompted to reset the password to your own password after the first successful login. Litmus Edge Manager Admin Console opens in your browser. The dashboard appears by default.
Notes:
- Do not forget your password. For security reasons, there is no password recovery. If you lose the administrator password, you must reinstall.
- You can reset your password at any time.
- You can access the software as long as your browser is on the same network as the software and device, even if you do not have an internet connection.

- Make sure your personal computing device is able to establish network communication through routing even if it is not connected to the same network.
- Make sure you have noted the IP address from the VM during installation.
To log in to Keycloak:
- From a browser, enter the host IP address followed by /auth/admin. For example: https://xxx.xxx.2.18/auth/admin. The log in screen appears.
- Enter the default credentials. Refer to the Default Login Credentials section above.
- Click Login. You are prompted to reset the password to your own password after the first successful log in. Litmus Edge Manager Keycloak opens in another browser tab. The Realm Settings pane appears by default.
Notes:

In some cases, you may want to use the terminal user interface (TUI) when you don't have access to a network system. In this case, you can locally connect your keyboard and monitor to the Litmus Edge Manager system and you should be able to access and configure some of the network systems.
