Enhancements and Improvements

Description

DeviceHub:

  • Include Extended Event Data is now enabled to read W&M Events in the Emerson ROC800 driver.
  • Stream browse is now supported to allow for large arrays of data.
  • The library for the Heidenhain 530 Advanced Ethernet (Gen1) driver has been updated.
  • The following FOCAS libraries can now be read for the Fanuc CNC Ethernet (Gen1) driver:
    • cnc_modal
    • cnc_rdgcode
    • cnc_rdcommand
  • The Fanuc CNC Ethernet (Gen1) driver now supports the following write functions.
    • Custom macros:
      • cnc_wrmacro
      • cnc_wrmacror
      • cnc_wrmacror2
    • PMC macros:
      • pmc_wrcntldata
      • pmc_wrcntlgrp
      • pmc_wrkpm
      • pmc_wrmsg
      • pmc_wrpmcrng
      • pmc_wrpmcparam
  • The Count tag parameter is now available for the Koyo Ethernet (Gen1) driver.
  • The Euromap63 driver now supports Write using the SET command.

Integration:

  • The outbound transfer speed for the Kafka TCP connector has been optimized.

Cloud Storage:

  • Several improvements have been made to the Cloud Storage feature.

Resolved Issues

Description

DeviceHub:

  • Fixed issue with the AB CompactLogix Ethernet Advanced driver not being able to browse UDT tags.
  • Fixed issue with not being able to enter a tag address that ends in 8 or 9.
  • Fixed issue with tag addresses for Gen1 drivers being incorrectly rejected. Address validation is no longer enabled for tag addresses.
  • Fixed issue with the JTEKT Ethernet Gen1 driver where the address format for bit types in the tag table was incorrect. The bit address format has changed to all lower case now.

OPC UA:

  • Fixed issue with a restriction on the number of segments allowed in topic names. There is no longer a restriction.

Integration:

  • Fixed issue with connectors generating a too many open files error.
  • Fixed issue with the NATS connector not reconnecting after a network issue.
  • Fixed issue with the Cognite connector not including all fields in responses.
  • Fixed issue with the Kafka connector writing data and requiring a restart after removing tags.
  • Fixed issue with Kafka connector giving db error after enabling/disabling the topics.
  • Fixed issue with tags being able to be assigned to multiple subscriptions.
  • Fixed issue with some input text fields not displaying the names and tooltips.

Digital Twins:

  • Fixed issue where an incorrect JSON data error was shown when creating a Transformation.
