Before configuring a custom hostname for your instance of Litmus Edge, you must do the following:

- Purchase your desired domain name from a domain registrar
- Get all valid SSL certificates for that domain

Once you've completed these prerequisites, you can upload the SSL certificates to Litmus Edge. See [Add a Device Certificate](docId\:A6g-bo9xf4CHv6GYlYHxG) to learn more.
