The Combination Processor combines fields from different input processors into a single JSON string.

## Why use the Combination Processor

Use this processor when a flow needs to merge data that arrives through separate input processors into one output payload, rather than processing each input's fields independently.

## How it works

After you create the Combination Processor, add a definition to the connecting wire. Reference each field you want to combine as `<wire definition>_<fieldName>`, using the name you gave the wire definition.

## Parameters

| **Parameter** | **Details** |
| ----------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Combination Type | Choose whether to combine selected fields only, or all fields, from the different input processors. |
| What Timestamp to Take? | The input processor whose timestamp is included in the combined output. |
| Fields to Combine | The fields to combine into a single JSON string, separated by commas. |
| Pass Through Value | Determines whether the processor's output is the combined value or the original unchanged input value. |
