The Conversion processor converts commonly used units in a factory setting.

## Why use Conversion

Use this processor to convert a value from one unit to another before it reaches downstream systems, for example converting a temperature reading from Fahrenheit to Celsius or a timestamp to local time.

## How it works

The processor supports the following conversions:

- Timestamp to local time
- Timestamp to UTC
- Celsius to Fahrenheit
- Fahrenheit to Celsius
- Degree to radian
- Radian to degree
- Degree to gon
- Gon to degree
- Radian to gon
- Gon to radian

## Parameters

| **Parameter**      | **Details**                                                                                             |
| ------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Conversion         | The type of conversion to perform.                                                                      |
| Pass Through Value | Determines whether the processor's output is the converted value or the unchanged original input value. |
