Log in with Authentication

After configuring LDAP, you must select a Provider ID when logging in to Litmus Edge.

The username is from the LDAP server. The password must match the Bind DN Password from the configuration. See Add an LDAP/AD Provider for more information.

The Internal authentication Provider appears in the ID selection list. If you do not select another ID, Litmus Edge uses the non-configurable default provider ID.

Litmus Edge uses a self-signed Certificate. Follow the browser guidelines for how to bypass a self-signed security error message. See Browser Issues for more information.

To log in with authentication:

  1. Enter the Litmus Edge IP address into a browser add/URL bar. For example: https://172.20.20.109.
  2. From the log in window, enter the authentication details:
    • Username: Enter the LDAP Server user name.
    • Enter Password: Enter the password from the Bind DN configuration.
    • Provider ID: Select openldap.
  3. Click Log In.
