After configuring LDAP, you must select a Provider ID when logging in to Litmus Edge.

The username is from the LDAP server. The password must match the Bind DN Password from the configuration. See [Add an LDAP/AD Provider](docId:6LqEIMpoNyHZAt22Fe2wq) for more information.

The Internal authentication Provider appears in the ID selection list. If you do not select another ID, Litmus Edge uses the non-configurable default provider ID.

Litmus Edge uses a self-signed Certificate. Follow the browser guidelines for how to bypass a self-signed security error message. See [Browser Issues](docId\:F_4FUf7kbozItSH_LMXp4) for more information.

**To log in with authentication:**

1. Enter the Litmus Edge IP address into a browser add/URL bar. For example: `https://172.20.20.109`.
2. From the log in window, enter the authentication details:
 - **Username**: Enter the LDAP Server user name.
 - **Enter Password**: Enter the password from the Bind DN configuration.
 - **Provider ID**: Select **openldap**.
3. Click **Log In**.
