The DT Instance Management tool can be used to disable one or multiple Instance(s) on one or multiple Litmus Edge.

**Important: **If Instance(s) are disabled, they will stop populating data.

### Disable Instance(s)

To be able to be disabled, an Instance requires an entry in the column **InstanceID and Instance Status! **and set to *M *in column **Action**.

**Notes**:

Use the **Compare vs LE** option to check if the Instance exist and have an InstanceID.

Press the **Disable Instance **option to disable ALL devices with the **Action ***M*.

**Notes**:

To not disable Instance(s) currently in the sheet, set their **Action **to **I** for ignore.

To verify to disable all Instance(s) in the sheet with **Action ***M *and a **InstanceID**, press the **Yes **button

After disabeling all the valid Instance(s), the tool asks if the Instance status should be checked.

This will check the Instance status and show it in column [InstanceID and Instance Status!](docId\:cgsNAS7sXpHkpVkj9CcbJ) 

Disabled Instance(s) will show a red status.
