Gateway Testing Tools
Litmus provides two browser-based tools for validating a gateway against Litmus Edge, both available from the Litmus Central Portal and both run as containers on a machine alongside the gateway. Start with Litmus Gateway Functionality Testing, which checks that a gateway supports the LE features you expect. It connects to the gateway, deploys test workloads across DeviceHub, DataHub, Analytics, Integrations, Flows, and OPC UA, and records how CPU and memory respond to each. It also produces the Word report Litmus reviews for gateway self-certification. See the Gateway Functionality Testing User Guide.
Once the gateway works, Litmus Gateway Performance Testing measures how hard you can push it. It polls a bundled Modbus simulator through the gateway across a grid of device and tag counts, counts the messages the gateway publishes, and records the throughput, delivery success rate, and resource cost at each combination. The result is an Excel report showing where the gateway stops keeping up. See the Gateway Performance Testing User Guide.
