Sign Up for the Litmus Central Portal

You can sign up for the Litmus Central Portal by creating an account from the Central Portal website.

To sign up for the Litmus Central Portal:

  1. In a browser window, visit https://central.litmus.io.
  2. From the homepage, click Sign in.

  3. From the login page, click Sign up.

  4. Complete the fields and click Register. A verification email is sent to you. If you don't see the email in your inbox, check your spam folder. If it is not in your spam folder, please contact your IT-department for assistance.

  5. Open the email and click Activate Account. A prompt displays to set up multi-factor authentication.

  6. Click Configure factor. A prompt to set up email authentication displays.

  7. Click Send me the code. An email with the verification code is sent to you. If you don't see the email in your inbox, check your spam folder.

  8. Open the email with the verification code. Copy the code and paste it in the Verification code field.

  9. You have the option of setting up additional authentication methods. Set up additional authentication methods or click Finish to complete setting up the account. See the sections below for specific steps on setting up Google Authenticator and SMS authentication. To set up SMS authentication, you must use a phone number in the U.S. or Canada.

  10. Complete remaining authentication methods to set up the account and log in to the Central Portal.

Set Up Google Authenticator

See below how to set up Google Authenticator.

Before You Begin

You will need to download the Google Authenticator app on your phone. Depending on your device type (iPhone or Android), download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

To set up Google Authenticator:

  1. From the Set up multifactor authentication prompt, click the Setup link for Google Authenticator.
  2. Select the device type for your phone and click Next. The barcode to scan displays.

  3. On your phone, open the Google Authenticator app, tap the + icon, and then select Scan barcode.

  4. Scan the barcode with your phone and follow the prompts in the app.

Set Up SMS Authentication

Note: To set up SMS authentication, you must use a phone number in the U.S. or Canada.

After clicking the Setup link, select the country (U.S. or Canada) and enter your phone number. Then, click Send code. Finally, retrieve the code from your phone and enter it to authenticate.
