Unified Namespace (UNS) allows you to configure and manage a standarized UNS hierarchy.

## Accessing UNS Manager

To access the *Unified Namespace (UNS)* module, select **Unified Namespace (UNS)** from the navigation panel. This central hub provides all the tools that you need to manage your UNS.

- [Explore](docId\:ejaqZ4fFoX5yU3qhVGhRF)**: **Design, configure, execute, and report on your UNS hierarchy. Customize the hierarchical structure of your enterprise's physical assets and data. Consume data without needing in-depth knowledge of lower-level sensors or PLC operations.
- [Configure](docId\:YN8KoFiKglVkfsA6Z6qDh)**:** UNS automatically processes metadata of incoming messages to create the UNS hierarchy. You should regularly review this hierarchy to track implementation progress and identify any data discrepancies that need addressing.
