--- title: Unified slug: uns/unified docTags: createdAt: 2025-02-24T18:41:24.709Z --- The **Unified** feature in *Litmus UNS *provides a dynamically generated hierarchical tree of topics that reflects data organization rules that you defined in the [Configure](docId\:YN8KoFiKglVkfsA6Z6qDh) section. ![](https://api.archbee.com/api/optimize/SSUUxKZUk9bFTEPNn_6Zo/mXeqW0PtiE-V6DBf4ErfD_image.png) On *Unified *page, you can: - Filter the hierarchy tree to quickly find relevant topics - Automatically generate and display a unified data hierarchy - Manage MQTT account permissions (ACL) for specific topics - Bridge selected topics to external connectors or integrations - View real-time topic or subtopic data through the MQTT Client tool - Manually add new MQTT account permissions - Remove unwanted topics and their child nodes # Before You Begin - Ensure you have a running instance of Litmus UNS and have access to its web interface. - Ensure the hierarchy tree is generated based on rules defined in the [Configure](docId\:YN8KoFiKglVkfsA6Z6qDh) section. Confirm these configurations are set appropriately. - If you plan to add or modify MQTT permissions, make sure you have at least one MQTT account configured. # Access the Unified UI 1. Log in to the *UNS *platform and navigate to the **Explore **section. 2. From the top of the *Explore *page, select the **Unified **tab. Action menu options:
* **Add new rule:** Add a MQTT ACL rules for the selected topic. * **Add Bridge**: Configure bridging settings for external integrations. * **View topic data**: Open the MQTT Client with the selected topic as subscription. * **View subtopic data:** Opens the MQTT Client with topic + “#” as subscription * **Remove**: Remove the selected topic and its children, after confirmation. |
