After selecting a project, the Incidents module appears.

The Incidents module includes a list of edge devices for which there is an incident. Incidents are generated alerts that are based on triggers. System triggers are preloaded, and user triggers are created in Alerts.

The Incidents pane includes filters for selection of a group list, state, and date range filters for Opened Before, Opened After, Closed Before and Closed After.

You can view an edge device's details by clicking its ID, and view a trigger by clicking on the trigger link associated with an edge device.

Access Incidents UI

To access the Incidents UI:

  1. Log in to Litmus Edge Manager.
  2. Select a company. The Projects pane appears.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Click a project from the Project pane. The Dashboard pane appears for the project.
    • Click the Actions icon for a project, and then select View. The Dashboard pane appears for the project.
  4. From the Navigation panel, select Incidents. The Incidents pane appears.

[1] Select Opened Before Date

Choose a date to filter incidents that were opened before this date.

[2] Select Opened After Date

Choose a date to filter incidents that were opened after this date.

[3] Select Closed Before Date

Choose a date to filter incidents that were closed before this date.

[4] Select Closed After Date

Choose a date to filter incidents that were closed after this date.

[5] Select Device Group List

Filter incidents by selecting a specific group of devices.

[6] Select State

  • All: Display all incidents
  • Open: Display only open incidents.
  • Close: Display only closed incidents.

[7] Show filter / Hide filter

Toggle the visibility of filter options.

[8] View Edge Device Details

You cannot access an edge device if the Litmus Edge Manager can no longer reach Litmus Edge.

[9] View Trigger

Click to manage and view alert triggers associated with incidents. Manage Alert Triggers

[10] Resolve Incident

Take action to resolve a selected incident.
