Prometheus
Note: The Prometheus feature is available for Litmus Edge Manager 2.10.1 and later.
Litmus Edge Manager (LEM) supports the integration of a Prometheus monitoring system for collecting metrics data. From this integration's metrics data, you may connect the Prometheus monitor system to a third-party client (such as Grafana) to retrieve, access, and use the metrics data for a more thorough analysis.
Litmus Edge Manager also supports the ability to connect to an external Alert Manager. When successfully connected, the Incidents alerts are sent to the external Alert Manager. This enables you to use an external Alert Manager of your choice to provide a more comprehensive alert management system.
To access the Prometheus UI:
- Log in to the Litmus Edge Manager (LEM) Admin Console at the following URL: https://[LEM IP address]:8446.
- From the navigation panel, select Integration. The Kafka pane by default appears.
- From Integration's navigation sub-panel, select Prometheus. The Prometheus pane appears.
Refer to the following actions you can take on the Prometheus pane.
Note: If you are unable to connect to the Prometheus URL, ensure inbound port 9090 is open.
