Limitations

Description

  • Changing tag parameters requires DeviceHub restart
  • Virtualbox deployment shows occasional TUI message with Login incorrect error. This can be rectified with an instance restart.
  • The default network should be updated before deploying an application. Configurations changes upon a network change can cause deployed applications to disappear
  • A force deletion of a default connector doesn't remove it. Make sure to gracefully deactivate cloud activation
  • Timeout for a backup file upload is ~ 5-6 sec, which can cause an issue for remote users
  • Occasionally a delay occurs on Litmus Edge upgrade deployment made from Litmus Edge Manager

Description

  • Siemens Advanced Gen2 driver has been removed

Important Information

Description

  • Enable the EFI option for VirtualBox deployment. It can be found in Settings > System > Motherboard > Extended EFI
  • Upgrade from 3.1.1.0 to 3.1.4.0 is not supported with VirtualBox deployment
  • The Siemens Advanced (Gen2) driver is deprecated in this release. If you are using this driver in your current deployment, make sure to backup the drivers/tags before upgrading to this version.
  • Renamed AB MicroLogix Ethernet to AB EthernetIP Ethernet

Known Issues

Description

  • Backup/Restore from a previous system may fail in some cases
  • Deactivation does not go through if the Litmus Edge Manager connection is lost
  • Access node in Flows does not show drop down of topic before deployment
  • Incorrect configurations with AD can show UI errors
  • Marketplace Catalog list view does not allow deployment of application
  • Browse tags does not work for an OPC UA Client connecting with a Prosys Server
  • The Observer user role when trying to view the registry pane gives UI error
  • Disk Space Policy Management is not sending the appropriate warnings
  • External storage "mount on boot" remains unmounted
  • LDAP does not provide feedback step-by-step
  • The License pane does not show the add-on license status if the core license is expired
  • There is no support for custom data format for the MYSQL connector
  • An Unhandled error occurs for a disabled user creation with the API endpoint
  • There is a failed retry connection for a software upgrade for the connection reset
  • An update for user/device events generates the wrong event
  • Docker images with larger size fails to upload
  • The DeviceHub Dashboard is not displaying the outages graph
  • Count shows as 1 during Tag creation due to incorrect request. Workaround: edit the tag after you create it to change the “count” tag parameter
  • Authentication mode for Basic256 encryption on the OPC UA server is not functional
