To set up and configure this device in Litmus Edge, you will need to do the following:
- Step 1: Set up and Configure the PLC Device
- Step 2: Set up the PLC Device in Litmus Edge DeviceHub
- Step 3: Configure the List of Registers
Note: Only one connection is allowed per port defined in the PLC. See the steps below to view and edit the open ports on the PLC.
If the device is configured for Ethernet access, find its network parameters. Otherwise, follow the steps below.
To configure your device:
Note down the following information and refer to it when needed. Device: Mitsubishi FX5U Ethernet Binary FX5U-32M Communication I/F: Ethernet. Refer to the following figure.

Read from PLC optionSelect the series.
Series Selection dialog boxSelect the connection destination.
Select Connection Destination dialog boxDouble-click the PLC module icon, and click Find to browse the device on the network.
Network browse step- From the Navigation panel, click Ethernet Port to set up communication parameters. Use Binary for this device.
Double-click External Device Configuration.
External Device Configuration optionSet up the connections. In this case, port 4996 through 4999 are able to connect.
