Where can I find the initial credentials?

Information on how to access the initial credentials will be provided to you via email after your order is completed. They are also available through the Litmus Edge documentation.

What is the hosted trial product?

  1. Litmus will deploy one Virtual Machine via Microsoft Azure.
  2. The customer will be provided with the URL to access that VM.
  3. By default, the IP used to purchase the Subscription is allowed to access the VM.
  4. Further IP addresses can be added later by the customer.

Where is the hosted Trial hosted?

The hosted trial does run on Microsoft Azure-hosted VMs.

How many hosted trials can a customer deploy?

Customer accounts can only deploy 1 Free hosted trial.

How long will the hosted trial run?

The hosted VM will run for the duration of the hosted trial which is 14 Days.

Can I extend the duration of the sandbox?

It is currently not possible to extend the duration of the sandbox.

How can I access a hosted trial VM?

Under your account you will find the Hosted Sandboxes tab. Which gives you the URL and which IP address are permitted to access it.

How can I stop or restart a hosted VM?

Under your account you will find the Hosted Sandboxes tab. Under the Actions column, you find the buttons to stop or restart your hosted trial VM.

How can I add further public IP addresses to the list of permitted IP?

Under your account you will find the Hosted Sandboxes tab. Under the Actions column, you find the button to edit the permitted IP’s able to access the hosted trial.

What IP is used as permitted IP?

Customers need to provide their public IP, which is assigned to the customer by their ISP. NOT the IP set for their laptops network card.

Where can I find my public IP used for the permitted IP?

You can find your public IP using webpages such as https://whatismyipaddress.com.

Will I get an email with the first time login information?

As we value our customers privacy, customers can Opt-In to receive Emails regarding their Orders and Subscriptions by checking on checkout the checkbox.

I want to receive Mail notification about my Orders and Subscriptions as well as Informational material.

Why can't I access the Cloud Storage page after upgrading to LE version 3.16.1?

After upgrading to version 3.16.1, the default admin user may lose access to the Cloud Storage page due to missing permissions. This issue affects instances originally installed on versions lower than 3.11.x.

To resolve it, go to SystemAccess ControlUsers, and either update non-default roles to enable Cloud Storage permissions or create new roles with the required permissions.
