Managing Teams
Litmus central portal is the one-in-all place where customers can get access to all the Litmus Products as well as our new Litmus Solutions.
Further are Litmus customers able to download the latest releases of Litmus Edge and Litmus Edge Manager after purchasing any of the none trial Litmus subscription products This is shown in their account through a new banner
This banner is displayed due to a gained membership the purchase of a respective product did grant, marking the customer as paying customer for this specific subscription product.
As long as a Subscription (Example: Scale membership) is in the Status Active the membership is granted to the customer
All products which will grant a membership, require the customer to provide a name for the team which is also referred to as Site or Company.
Example: Direct Purchased product
Example: Request a Quote
Up on completing a purchase, the team with the provided name is created and the customer who executed the purchase is set as the owner of that team The customer also becomes a member of this team As the team was created after the purchase of a subscription, the lifetime of that subscription will be used to control if its related membership is granted to the member of a team
As long as a Subscription is Active, all members of the associated team will be granted that specific membership
If the subscription is no longer active (On-Hold = awaiting renewal, Expired/Cancelled = not renewed, Pending = purchase/ renewal not completed), this specific membership is no longer granted to the team members
To be able to share a membership with other colleagues in your organization, without them having to purchase a product themselves , colleagues can be invited to be a member of a team which grants the desired membership
There are three roles a customer can have as part of a team Each role will get the membership granted, and they only differentiate in what are the members able with regards to the team management Every customer can only be part of one team granting a specific membership.

- They still are responsible to renew that expired subscription to provide the members of that other team with the membership
- Owners can be owner of multiple teams
- Managers are a member of a team
- They gain the membership granted by the team, as long as the subscription is active
- Managers can not renew or resubscribe to a subscription
- Managers can invite new team members with the role Member
- Managers can remove team members with the role Member
- Managers can not rename the team
- Managers can only be member of one team
- Members are a member of a team
