release date june 17, 2026 enhancement description the topicremove api and the associated remove button on the mqtt clients page are no longer available remove is unnecessary as topics are cleared with the client's mqtt session resolved issues description subscribing to # on the mqtt clients page no longer causes internal $sys/broker system messages to be delivered the namespace manager also no longer picks up $sys topics and adds them to the hierarchy mqtt topic names with special characters are now handled correctly the namespace manager previously failed to process topic names containing special characters disabling or removing a litmus edge mqtt account now disconnects the client previously, disabling or removing an le mqtt account in litmus unify left the connection active, the client continued publishing, connectors remained shown as active in litmus edge, and the dashboard continued showing the client as connected fixed retained message delivery retained messages were not delivered to new subscribers joining a topic after the message was published
