New Features

The following are new features introduced in this software release:

Description

Activation:

  • Activation Configuration now offers a new Advanced Settings section. This section provides you the opportunity to customize the Remote Access (the connection between Litmus Edge Manager and Litmus Edge) parameter PersistentKeepalive(the interval in seconds of how often to send an authenticated empty packet to a Litmus Edge).

Edge Devices:

  • Added a new Settings tab at Admin Console > Edge Devices > Edge Remote Networks to enable you to configure the Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) of the Remote network interface.

Marketplace

  • Marketplace now offers the creation and synchronization of Primary and Secondary catalogs. A new Synchronization section has been added in each marketplace catalog application. This section enables you to synchronize a Secondary catalog to become identical to a Primary catalog.

Enhancements and Features

The following features and enhancements are included in this software release:

Description

Keycloak:

  • Upgraded keycloak to 20.0.3.

Personal Settings:

  • The Litmus Customer Success (Open support chat) widget is now collapsible to prevent other UI elements from being blocked and/or unclickable.

Templates:

  • The Description field now has a character limit of 512.
  • Templates list now provide statistics for each template.
  • Redesigned Create Template from device to be similar to Litmus Edge's user interface version.

Alerts:

  • When setting up a Metrics-based Trigger, Alert Delay, seconds must be at least 60 seconds.
  • When setting up a Metrics-based Trigger, Target Value is now in msgs/minute rather than msgs/seconds.

License:

  • You can now both add add-on Litmus Edge Manager Node-locked licenses and upgrade core Litmus Edge Manager Node-locked licenses at Admin Console > Settings > License.

Resolved Issues

The following issues that existed in one or more previous releases have been resolved:

Description

Templates:

  • Fixed an issue when uploading an invalid Parameterized Template (.zip folder). It previously yielded a successful result message but didn't add the template. It will now accurately display an error message.

Company List:

  • Fixed an issue with companies duplicating after changing company name.

Alerts:

  • Fixed an issue with Metrics alerts for Connector online status operating improperly.

Data Lifecycle:

  • Fixed an issue with graph and information not being displayed correctly for Admin Console > Data Lifecycle > Statistics.
  • Fixed an issue with searching by project name failing to yield search results for Admin Console > Data Lifecycle > Management.

Security:

  • Resolved a vulnerability related to CVE-2023-28322.

Known Issues

The following issues are unresolved in this release:

Description

Installation:

  • Azure-Marketplace-installed Litmus Edge Manager will redirect to internal IP address. Workaround: From Admin Console > Settings > Domain/SSL, set the values of Base Domain Name and Edge Remote endpoint as external IP address.

Edge Devices:

  • Expired site-based licenses do not display their expired status.

Templates:

  • When creating a template, NTP, DNS, Timezone, Country, and Docker Data are automatically incorporated.
  • Uploading a template file circumvents the 512 character limit for Template Description.
  • Two or more templates can share the same description.

Upgrade:

  • Users are able to downgrade Litmus Edge Manager to an earlier version.
