Dynamic Attributes Wizard
Dynamic Attributes allow to manage variable data in the model.
To assist with the definition of the Dynamic Attributes and ensure that the JSON Object is correctly formatted, the DT Model Management Tool provides a Dynamic Attribute Wizard.
Access the Dynamic Attribute Wizard
Notes:
To access the Dynamic Attribute Wizard it is required that:
- A Model Type is selected
- A Model Name is defined
Select the respective cell in Column Dynamic Attributes for the Model you want to define Dynamic Attributes for.
If all conditions are met, the Dynamic Attribute Wizard button is shown in the Help section of the LitmusConfiguration ribbon.
Open the Dynamic Attribute Wizard by pressing the Dynamic Attribute Wizard button.
The Dynamic Attribute wizard will show.
Notes:
If the Model has already Dynamic Attributes defined, they will be shown in the List.
Add a new Dynamic Attribute Parameter Set
To add a new Dynamic Attribute Parameter Set, press the Add option from the left panel.
Dynamic Attribute Parameter Sets consist of five Parameters:
- Name: The name of the Dynamic Attribute.
- Unit (optional): A string representign the Dynamic Attributes Engineering Unit
- Data Type (optional): Select the data type of the Dynamic Attribute.
- Skip Key: The Skip Key option is only available when the Data Type is set to JSON.
- Transformation Schema (optional): Select a Transformation Schema used by the Dynamic Attribute for data transformation .
To accept the entry press the green Modify button.
Notes:
If not all mandatory (*) Parameters for the Dynamic Attribute are provided, the Modify button will remain grayed out and the Dynamic Attribute can not be saved.
The wizard also performs a verification for each entry and will show any violation in red. In this case the Modify button will also be grayed out to prevent the saving of any invalid Dynamic Attribute.
Edit a Dynamic Attribute Parameter Set
Select the Dynamic Attribute you want to edit to open its Edit screen.
Edit any of the Dynamic Attribute Parameters:
- Name: The name of the Dynamic Attribute.
- Unit (optional): A string representign the Dynamic Attributes Engineering Unit
- Data Type (optional): Select the data type of the Dynamic Attribute.
- Skip Key: The Skip Key option is only available when the Data Type is set to JSON.
- Transformation Schema (optional): Select a Transformation Schema used by the Dynamic Attribute for data transformation .
And press the Modify button.

Delete a Dynamic Attribute Parameter Set
Select the Dynamic Attribute, you want to delete, to open its Edit screen.
To delete the Dynamic Attribute press the Delete button.
Save the Dynamic Attribute(s)
To save all the defined Dynamic Attribute(s) as a new Dynamic Attribute JSON Object, press the Save button.
This will create the correctly formatted Dynamic Attribute JSON Object and store it in column Dynamic Attributes for the Model.
Important: This will overwrite the current value in column Dynamic Attributes.
Cancel the Dynamic Attribute Wizard
If a user decides to not save the current Dynamic Attribute Wizard configuration, they can press the Cancel button.

This will not overwrite the current value in column Dynamic Attributes.
